Wild Surmise was formed in the spring of 2017 after Duncan Turner's one-act comedy, So Bad, was workshopped at Didcot Cornerstone arts centre by six actors and a director.

An extract from So Bad was performed by Wild Surmise in September at a scratch night at Didcot Cornerstone and another extract has been performed at Page to Stage at the Horse and Stables in Lambeth. The play has also been workshopped by the Monday Club at Chelsea Theatre.

We plan to present So Bad at other scratch nights in London and Oxfordshire and to submit our production for inclusion in festivals and showcase events.

Wild Surmise’s main short-term objective is to produce So Bad in a double-bill with a second original comedy, Autumn Leaves, at an Oxfordshire venue or a London fringe theatre.
